  • Enrichment Center, East Coast Nursery 30366 Cordrey Rd Millsboro, DE, 19966 United States

Daryl Kobesky will highlight various plants that present multiseason interest (including flowers, bark, fall color, and fruit) to help extend the gardening season and enrich garden wildlife habitat. He will discuss the importance of understanding each plant’s requirements for exposure and soil conditions and whether the plant has deer resistance.

Daryl graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor of science degree in environmental planning and design, with a concentration in landscape architecture. He then joined in succession two landscape architecture firms in New Jersey, where he worked primarily in construction administration as a project manager and obtained his license as a landscape architect. He is now production manager at Pleasant Run Nursery in Allentown, New Jersey, raising more than 1,200 cultivars. Daryl has cotaught plant and design courses at Rutgers in its Continuing and Professional Education Department.
