Take a walk through the meadow at DBG and learn to recognize butterflies common in our backyards! You will learn how the astonishing Monarch Butterfly migrates from Canada to Mexico (through the Delmarva Peninsula) and how you can help sustain its habitat for successful flights. Guided by volunteers and staff at the Botanic Garden, you will discover the wonders and beauty of these marvelous creatures in habitat that supports their nourishment and provides host plants for them to lay their eggs. Appropriate for adult and children. Photos encouraged.
